INSTALASI DEBIAN ETCH BERBASIS TEKS

LANGKAH-LANGKAH MENGINSTALL  LINUX DEBIAN

1.       Setting bios dengan first booting pada cd rom

2.       Masukan  cd install debian linux

3.       Akan muncul tampilan awal untuk menginstall seperti berikut ini

4.       Choose language

-          Memilih bahasa yang akan digunakan, pilih english

5.       Choose country or region

-          Memilih negara, pilih other  untuk  melihat pilihan yang lain,pilih indonesia

6.       Select keyboard layout

-          Memilih keyboard  pilih american english

7.       Detect and mount cd rom

-          Komputer akan mendeteksi hardware untuk pencarian driver cd rom,pilih yes

8.       Load installer components from cd

-          Tunggulah selama  computer sedang dalam proses

9.       Detect network hardware

-          Komputer akan mencari hardware untuk jaringan

10.   Configure the network

-          Pilih configure network manually

1.       Masukan IP adress

2.       Masukan subnet mask,tapi biasanya subnet mask terisi secara otomatis

3.       Masukan gatway sesuai dengan gatway server

4.       Masukan IP Adress DNS server

5.       Masukan host name

6.       Masukan domain name

11.   Detect disk

-          Komputer sedang proses untuk mendeteksi disk

12.   Partition disk

-          Pilih manually edit partition table

-          Buat tiga bagian untuk partisi pada harddisk

1.       Root =  4 GB,file sistem = ext, type= primery

2.       Home = 3 GB,file sistem = ext, type= logical

3.       Swap area = 1 GB,file sistem = swap

-          Setelah selesai pilih FINISH partition and write,pilih yes

13.   Configure time zone

-          Komputer akan mengkonfigurasi  untuk waktu yang digunakan menurut wilayah

14.   Configure the clock

-          Konfigurasi  untuk jam menurut wilayah,pilih no

15.   Setup users and password

-          Langkah pertama buatlah password untuk root

-          Masukan lagi password yang sama

-          Kemudian buatlah users baru,masukan nama users

-          Buatlah nama untuk users acount juga

-          Masukan password untuk users

-          Masukan lagi password yang sama untuk users

16.   Installasi the base system

-          Komputer akan mengistall system dasar debian

17.   Configure the package manager

-          Komputer mengkonfigurasi”package manager”

18.   Select and  install software

-          Komputer akan mengistall software yang ada

19.   Install the GRUB boot loader ,pilih yes

20.   Install the boot loader on a harddisk

21.   Continue without boot loader

22.   Finish the installation
